The civil war had its own characteristics in different territories of the former Russian Empire. It took very specific forms on the territory of the former Turkestan General Government, which was caused by both the natural features of the area and the specific composition of the opponents. It was in this war that the 400-year-old Bukhara Khanate, founded by Muhammad Sheybani, finally perished.
