The first scientific publication of texts by two Russian-Jewish writers, theorists and practitioners of radical anarchism of the first half. XX century In addition to the prosaic utopian poem “Country of Anarchy” (1917–1919) and the memo-treatise “The First Central Sociotechnical School” (1919), it included selected articles and essays from anarchist periodicals. The texts are commented on and supplemented by the brothers’ later materials, including their foreign publications of the 1930–1950s, specially translated from Yiddish and from English for the present. ed. The book ends with a work by literary utopia researcher L. Geller, which examines in detail the creative biographies of the Gordins and the connections of their ideas with the discoveries of the Russian avant-garde (Khlebnikov, Platonov, Malevich, etc.).
