Yuri Maksimovich Slobodkin was born on November 7, 1939. In 1965 he graduated from the Sverdlovsk Law Institute. Since 1976 - Chairman of the Solnechnogorsk City People's Court. In December 1989, he was elected chairman of the Qualification Board of Judges of the Moscow Region. In November 1991 he joined the Russian Communist Workers' Party (RCWP). He was repeatedly elected as a member of the Central Committee of the RCRP. 1990-93 - People's Deputy of the Russian Federation. Author of the Draft Constitution of the Russian Federation, an alternative to “Yeltsin’s”. The project of Slobodkin Yu. M. was submitted to the Constitutional Commission of the Russian Federation, but, naturally, was rejected by the “Yeltsinists”. Slobodkin Yu. M. is a talented publicist, regularly published in the newspaper Trudovaya Rossiya.
