N.F. Vatutin (1901-1944) was one of the galaxy of military leaders who led our people to victory in the Great Patriotic War. The book tells about his life and military activities. During the war, he was deputy chief of the General Staff, a representative of the Supreme Command Headquarters, and commanded the troops of the Voronezh, Southwestern and 1st Ukrainian fronts. Died in 1944, buried in Kyiv.
