One of the heroes of the story, our contemporary, Igor Vlasov suddenly finds out that he is the heir to an ancient family of priests of Veles, the god of wisdom, magic, ruler of wild nature, the god Navi. By his will, Igor is transported to the year 1168 on the island of Rügen. Here is the last stronghold of northern paganism - the city of Arkona. Igor has been entrusted with a special mission - to save the sacred writings of the Magi. The novel is based on true historical events - the capture of the city of Arkona by Danish troops and their destruction of the Baltic Delphi - the Temple of Sventovit. The action takes place against the backdrop of a crusade into the lands of the Western Slavs, their tragic struggle against foreign invaders. Will ancient culture bow to this disaster?
