Recognizing the achievements of other areas of psychology and psychotherapy, representatives of the humanistic movement rightly believe that psychoanalytic, behavioristic, and other approaches seem to insufficiently trust the person himself, imposing on him certain forms of analysis and influence. In contrast, representatives of humanistic therapy see the main reserves in the personality of the person himself, in the inherent forces of goodness, mental health and the desire for improvement. Therefore, “humanists” consider their main task to be the creation of conditions for the disclosure of these own reserves of the human personality. It is only important to liberate these tendencies and create an atmosphere of security and safety of their natural manifestation. Corresponds to the Federal State Educational Standard for Higher Education 3+. For students, applicants and graduate students, teachers of humanities universities and faculties.
