This work is the second edition of the textbook for the course “Judicial Oratory” and is addressed to students of law faculties of universities and technical schools, as well as to practicing lawyers. The manual examines the purpose and characteristic features of judicial speech as a genre of oratory, methods and methods of argumentation, speech means of logic and impact of judicial speech, and the ethics of the speech behavior of a judicial speaker. Recommendations are given on the selection and use of language means and the prevention of speech errors. The manual has been revised and supplemented taking into account the reform of the judicial system and the state of judicial eloquence in Russia. In the second edition, the main topics of the course have been refined and systematized. The manual will help young professionals acquire certain skills in preparing and delivering a judicial speech, in managing the attention of the judicial audience; It will help experienced lawyers get rid of some mistakes.
