The collective monograph is the result and continuation of the work of the International Conference (Bordeaux, 2007) dedicated to the Russian philosopher of the early 20th century Gustav Gustavovich Shpet. Specialists in the field of philosophical epistemology, history of philosophy, psychology, linguistics, and philology examined the ideas of G. G. Shpet and showed their relevance for modern philosophy and the humanities. Published archival and memoir materials make it possible to restore Shpet's intellectual contribution to the development of philosophical and scientific thought. The book is intended for philosophers, humanities scholars, as well as for everyone interested in the history of Russian philosophy and the methodology of the humanities.
