There are many versions about where and how the greatest commander of ancient Greece was buried, but none of them is confirmed by facts. Did his friend and comrade-in-arms Ptolemy take the body of the Divine King to Alexandria? Or was it delivered to Alexander’s homeland, to the capital of Macedonia, Pella? Or maybe his beloved Babylon became the final resting place of the great warrior? There are no answers to these questions, and this is well known to the young archaeologist Daniel Knox.
