The plot of this book is based on a correspondence dispute about the fate of Europe and the whole world in the middle of the 20th century with a very popular author - Vladimir Bogdanovich Rezun (pen name Viktor Suvorov). Vladimir Novozhenov decided to call V. Rezun to discuss the content of his works in order to find out who really initiated the launch of Adolf Hitler’s war machine. Almost all of Rezun-Suvorov’s works assure us that this is the USSR and its leader, Comrade Stalin. The author of this book tries to convincingly prove that this is not so, naming Hitler’s real patrons. This literary work differs from the numerous works of critics of Rezun-Suvorov primarily in that the author, avoiding an emotional assessment of Suvorov’s concept of the aggressive nature of the USSR, leads his reader to an understanding of the deep the roots of the preparation of two world wars of the last century, the authorship of which cannot be attributed to the Soviet people and their leadership.
