Summer 1066. The Norwegian king Harald the Severe set out to conquer England. On the way, his soldiers saved a young Slovenian who had fallen overboard a merchant ship. The Vikings considered the find a good sign, a gift from the sea god Njord, and took the guy with them. Traveling on a battle boat, the young man learned not only to fight, but also to compose poems. Soon the Vikings noticed that the young skald's poems had the power of a spell. Now he is called the Warlock of Gardariki, and Harald himself listens to his words...
