Now she must constantly fight on and off the tennis court to defeat evil and transform from an “ugly duckling” into a beautiful “swan.” Everyone is against her: the management of the orphanage, her rich tennis peers, the sports mafia. Will she be able to overcome what seems insurmountable? This novel is not only a sports drama, but also a psychological drama. A tense “thriller” plot is not an end in itself. It helps the reader understand that the main thing in life is not achieving success at any cost.
