Владислав Крапівін майстерно передає емоції та переживання юного Джонні Воробйова, який проходить шлях від безтурботного малюка до складного підлітка. Читачі можуть відчути всі труднощі, з якими стикається герой, а також його прагнення до мрії, що робить цю повість надзвичайно близькою та зрозумілою. Особливо вразила частина про Севку, маленького поета, який, незважаючи на всі труднощі, не втрачає віри у свої мрії. Ця книга не лише розважає, але й надихає, змушуючи замислитися про важливість дружби, підтримки та віри в себе.
