Jada Morgan hates Valentine's Day, which is ironic since she works for a holiday card company.

She meets Nathan Reynolds, the company's new graphic artist, while working on a design for a marketing campaign. This year, she realizes that they are connected by more than just a mutual dislike of all things Cupid.

As they grow closer, Jada learns that Nathan is a single father and quickly becomes attached to him and his little girl.
