An explosion occurs in one of the carriages of the above-ground metro train. The next second, the main character Mars finds himself in the throne room along with a group of completely unrelated people. The king and his retinue announce that among the twenty summoned there is a hero who will have to save the world, and at the same time receive all the honors. Unfortunately, Mars turns out to be NOT a hero, but a reader. He is given two choices: either life in the library or death. Having chosen the first option, Mars goes into a spatial rift, where the mysterious “library” is located. Only this library turns out to be a real labyrinth, and the readers in this world are its conquerors.
