Irina Aleksandrovna Antonova is the only museum figure whose name is widely known not only in professional circles. Legendary director of the Pushkin Museum. Pushkin, a person in love with the great art of the past and who discovered modern artists for us, she knew how not only to show art within the walls of her museum, but also to talk about it, infecting with her delight, her love. Since the 60s, Irina Aleksandrovna has been giving lectures on art, and for the last twenty years of her life she hosted the author’s program “The Fifth Dimension,” which became an anthology of stories about artists, paintings, museums, and collectors. This book is dedicated to a very important turn in the study of art history: “ eternal themes of art" and consists of four large sections: "Love", "Hero", "Man and Nature", "Still Life". Each section is accompanied by color photographs of works from the collection of the Pushkin Museum. The publishing layout is saved in a4.pdf format.
