The Cottage Palace is an outstanding monument of Russian architecture of the second third of the 19th century. The layout of the palace, the relationships between the external and internal spaces, the stylistic features of architectural and decorative decoration, and the principles of interior design reflected the main trends of a new direction in the art of the 19th century - romanticism. Cottage - the main architectural structure of the palace and park ensemble of Alexandria, adjacent to the Lower Park. The palace was opened to visitors in 1979.
