The second volume (“The Current of Halcyone”) of the first five-volume block of the Anthology of World Fiction includes the works of two science fiction writers from Great Britain: Eric Frank Russell’s novel “Sentinels of the Universe” and its three stories, as well as the novel “The Current” by Brian M. Stableford Alcyone.” The design of the block is designed so that when the books that make it up are placed in a certain order (from left to right: “Mutant Weapon”, “The Current of Alkyon”, “Space Fugitive”, “Weapon of Oblivion” and “Ariman’s Arrow”) their spines will form one general picture representing the symbol of this block.
