Within each of these large themes, the most significant areas are highlighted, fully demonstrating the specific features of this or that art. In the case of Hindu art, for example, the focus is on sacred architecture, while in the case of Chinese art, the focus is primarily on landscape painting. The art of the East is in direct correlation with the system of religious mythological ideas, therefore the sacred architecture of Hinduism, which is a religion that has evolved over thousands of years and is characterized by significant stability, most reflects the fundamental principles of worldview, reflected in the art of Hinduism. Similarly, in the case of Chinese landscape painting, which is inextricably linked with the concepts of Taoism and Confucianism, it is this type of art that most fully demonstrates the view of the medieval Chinese on the Universe. In the process of considering the art of different peoples of the East, certain parallels and comparisons are drawn with the key principles on which art of the West.
