The main discovery of feminist thought in the second half of the 20th century on the main path of knowledge of man by Western European philosophy was that man has gender. This banal truth was pushed out of the main road of Western philosophical anthropology, and feminism, having begun to comprehend its philosophical foundations, pointed out with childish innocence that the king is naked, that “man” as the main character of all anthropological theories, understood outside of his root quality, which is gender is only one of the varieties of “naked” abstraction. In other words, feminism set out to prove that gender is not limited to primary and secondary sexual characteristics; it permeates all spheres of human social and cultural life. This book is dedicated to examining this evidence. It is addressed to philosophers, cultural scientists, sociologists, psychologists, students and teachers of courses in modern Western philosophy, gender theory, history and cultural theory, as well as everyone interested in philosophical problems of gender.
