Cloverdale is an unusually picturesque town near London. Adam Parker, who recently moved here with his two children, is pleasantly surprised that rural life is not what he feared. There's always something going on here, and local resident Jennifer even invites Adam to help her with a project - to open a "library of everything under the world" where people will rent not only books.

The only problem: Jennifer is fascinated by Adam, and he is her sister Isla. Things get worse when someone finds a personal diary with eerie revelations in Adam's house. Who does it belong to? And what happened to the mother of Adam's children? He himself does not open up, which incurs suspicion.
