The investigation into the death of the owner of the media holding, Vladimir Stakhovsky, which his wife Kristina entrusted to journalist Svetlana Ukhtomina, added a lot of black color to the carefully created image of an honest businessman and an exemplary family man. It turned out that Stakhovsky had a mistress and an illegitimate son, who received a considerable share of the inheritance, and in his youth he was involved in a crime. A detective agency is looking for his son, whom Stakhovsky has never seen, and his mistress dies before he can tell Svetlana something important. Guessing that the answer to the death of the media tycoon must be sought in his past, Svetlana goes to Stakhovsky’s homeland, to a small Ural town. And he immediately understands: young Vladimir left a very bad memory of himself there...
