What can the butterfly effect do? What impact can a few people in the 15th century have on history in half a hundred years? What if their movement somehow swaps many of the resources of the New World and Eastern Europe? Perhaps the British will discover America? Or will paganism return to Scandinavia? Or maybe the Rurik dynasty will end a hundred years earlier? What if everything is done at once, and with a bunch of other, smaller changes? It seems like the atmosphere is the same as in history lessons, but the events, personalities and facts are noticeably different. The main character had to survive in just such a world, slowly but surely adapting and getting used to a new, ruthless environment. But he survived. He survived and, by the power of progress and the triumph of knowledge, began to pave his own path for the history of this world.
