One day at the beginning of summer, three men arrived at a fishing base located on Ladoga. They got here, it seemed, by accident, but probably by a certain design of Providence. One is a middle-aged history professor; the second is a TV presenter, broadcast star, over thirty; the third is an elderly, very educated man of unknown profession. Men not only fish, but also actively talk, discussing what is happening in their lives, in their country. And they also experience various and obscure events. Then one person has a strange dream - a she-wolf with a wolf cub; then on the road you constantly meet dead animals... In addition, they go to look at petroglyphs - they go up the mountain and study the drawing on the rock left there by the ancient Scandinavians...
