Founded in 1776 by the Bavarian student of the Jesuits, Adam Weishaupt, the Illuminati Order set itself a clear and specific task: to put an end to the monarchy and the church - and for this purpose established contacts with Masonic lodges. However, its existence ceased in 1784. Nevertheless, there is reason to believe that after that he did not disappear, but only hid from the eyes of the rulers, secretly continuing his activities. This is evidenced by the appearance at different times and in different places of organizations declaring themselves the heirs of the Illuminati. But perhaps the best proof can be found in subsequent history, during which, as we well know, many points of Weishaupt’s program were successfully implemented. Based on historical documents, the author of this book, the famous conspiracy theorist Luis Miguel Martinez Otero, traces the history of the emergence and existence of the order, as well as the various forms of manifestation of its ideas in subsequent eras, paying special attention to its connection with modern secret societies and the world order they introduced.< /p>
