A holiday in an ethnographic museum instead of the promised Disneyland is a so-so prospect for eleven-year-old Yaroslav. He is terribly disappointed that he is waiting for a vacation in Siberia, in the company of strange relatives who have many children but little money. What should he do there? How to count ravens like your ornithologist uncle? Or babysit your little cousins? He is angry with his parents - they’ve made friends! Yaroslav reluctantly boards the plane, clutches a backpack with valuables to himself so as not to be stolen, and still does not know that in just a month he will have to learn how to take great photographs, sculpt from clay, fall in love... and even prevent crime.
