Rauen lives in a world where birth control does not allow her to exist: she is the second child in the family. A sixteen-year-old girl is forced to hide in her parents' house. She cannot go to school, make friends, walk freely in Eden... Outside of Eden, planet Earth is dead. All life on it died as a result of an environmental disaster. People will have to wait thousands more years before a specially created program heals the planet and makes it habitable again. Rowen is tired of constantly hiding, she wants to be outside the house at least once in her life. One day she decides to run away - just for one night. Where will this night full of dangerous adventures take her?
