The world is small not because almost 8 billion people already live in it. By God, there are still plenty of places on Earth where intelligent people can peacefully live without tripping over each other. But who am I to decide the fate of the world! It’s important for me to sort out my own destiny, in which those who left the world were crowded together in a patch of life living people continue to crowd me - my relatives, friends, colleagues and strangers who accidentally fell into my world. While my memory does not fail me, I decided to remember them - some with gratitude, some, alas, with reproach... In short stories from a long life, it is difficult to tell everything that I wanted to tell to those who might benefit from my experience.
