Having become pregnant at the age of fifteen, Nina Romano did not give up the child. Showing tenacity that was rare for her age, she graduated from high school, raised her daughter on her own, and even became the mayor of Avalon. But a political career was not her goal; in the near future, she saw herself as the owner of a hotel on the shores of Lake Willow. Unfortunately, Miss Romano did not have time to collect the required amount; the hotel was bought by one of the members of the wealthy Bellamy clan, handsome divorcee Greg, and persuaded Nina to work for him. Very soon they realized that they were united not only by a common cause, in which they both showed talent and hard work, but also by the memories of their youth.
