Twenty-eighth century. Planet Earth and humanity, spread throughout the solar system, are on the verge of a gigantic discovery in the field of time management. This discovery should allow terrestrial researchers to freely penetrate into distant worlds, changing the flow of time in their ships. In a scientific laboratory located on the outskirts of the solar system, the first powerful independent time generator, Magellan-1, was constructed. During a secret experiment, a copy of it, mounted on a ship, disappears under strange circumstances along with the ship. Earthling military intelligence suggests that the Magellan was captured by an unknown race living in the Z87 system. By order of the military command, a special military space reconnaissance unit “Invisibles” is created to collect information about an unknown race.
