Igor Gorodetsky is a surgeon, works in an ordinary hospital, and at first glance his life is unremarkable. But as soon as night falls, everything changes, because for many years now, in an incomprehensible way, the doctor has been moving through space and finding himself in another world. He doesn’t know what kind of world this is, he has to find the answer to this question, but Igor is a man of action, and therefore in this world he has friends and work: he is a field doctor of a huge Khasar army. He is helped by Svetlana, the head nurse, a girl much younger than him. She has long been in love with Igor, but only in the new world does she manage to find the path to his heart. Neither the doctor himself nor his girlfriend know that everything is being closely watched by strange creatures who conduct an invisible dialogue “behind the scenes.” One thing is clear: these creatures are leading, all-knowing. They protect Sveta and Igor and carefully guide them along the path of development.
