Who killed Vlad Listyev? According to the author of the book, former Prosecutor General of the Russian Federation Yuri Skuratov, Listyev found himself at the epicenter of political and criminal squabbles. He stood across the throat not only of mafia structures, but also of the powerful state elite. First they tried to buy him, then to break him, and when neither one nor the other succeeded, they killed him. The book quite reliably and convincingly answers the question: who killed Vlad? However, this book is not strictly a work of non-fiction, and some of the characters in it are fictional. In the afterword, Yu. Skuratov writes: “The investigation into this case is not completed, it continues, and for obvious reasons I cannot say much openly. That is why I chose a special form of storytelling - the genre of the novel, where it would be possible to combine the real with the fictitious, real names with invented ones. But almost every invention has its own real-life prototype.”
