The writer Agatha Christie accepts an offer from the Secret Intelligence Service and goes to the island of Tenerife to investigate the circumstances surrounding the death of a special agent - there is reason to believe that he was the victim of a magical ritual. During the sea voyage, a strangely theatrical suicide of one of the passengers occurs, and soon after arriving on the island, another fellow traveler of the writer is killed, and they leave behind evidence that has an effect. Agatha Christie herself is arrested on false charges. Thanks to her amazing deductive abilities, she comes to the conclusion that all these events are interconnected, but another thing is certain: pulling strings to unravel this case is mortally dangerous.
