The writer Agatha Christie accepts an offer from the Secret Intelligence Service and goes to the island of Tenerife to investigate the circumstances surrounding the death of a special agent - there is reason to believe that he was the victim of a magical ritual. Ця книга Агати Крісті вразила мене своєю інтригуючою сюжетною лінією та майстерним переплетенням детективного жанру з елементами магії. Від початку до кінця я був захоплений подіями, які розгорталися на фоні загадкового острова Тенеріфе. Письменниця, яка сама стає героїнею свого твору, додає особливого шарму цій історії. Кожен персонаж має свою таємницю, і я постійно намагався вгадати, хто ж насправді стоїть за цими жахливими подіями. Крісті вміло грає на емоціях читача, змушуючи його сумніватися в кожному персонажі та кожному вчинку. Вражаючий фінал, який я не зміг передбачити, залишив мене в захваті. Рекомендую цю книгу всім шанувальникам детективів та тих, хто любить загадки з елементами містики!
