The authors of this book belong to the generation of 40-year-olds. Having debuted 10-15 years ago, they have taken a strong place in Romanian literature; they are known both in the Soviet Union and in other countries. The short prose collected here gives the reader the opportunity to see how trends in the literature of the absurd and magical realism are developing on the national Romanian soil. In addition to works that were experimental in form, the collection included short stories and miniatures that reflected the sentiments of those whose youth coincided with the era of the Beatles.
