“Not a Fighter” is a fantasy novel by Sergei Plotnikov, the first book in the “Rider” series, the hit-and-miss genre, urban fantasy, social fiction. Yaroslav comes to his senses in another world and another body. Doctors say that he is a high school student by age, lives in Japan, woke up after a long coma, and now his name is Yoshiro. Japan is somehow strange, and indeed the whole world seems to Yaroslav-Yoshiro like a computer game, or rather, a mixture of all the games he knows. Using a wrist computer, you can measure your characteristics in numbers, like in an RPG (and even choose what to “download”!); elves, vampires, intelligent humanoid robots and other seemingly imaginary creatures easily roam the streets of the Tokyo Metropolitan Area along with the Japanese and foreigners. And law and order, along with the police, are protected by... damn, high school superheroes!? That's... "lucky". And whether you like it or not, you’ll have to somehow get out.

Неймовірна подорож у світ фентезі!
Книга «Не боєць» Сергія Плотнікова стала для мене справжнім відкриттям у жанрі попаданців. Автор майстерно створює атмосферу, в якій читач відразу занурюється у дивовижний світ Японії, де реальність переплітається з елементами комп'ютерних ігор. Історія Ярослава, який стає Йоширо, викликає безліч емоцій - від здивування до сміху. Цікаво спостерігати, як головний герой намагається адаптуватися до нових умов, зустрічаючи на своєму шляху ельфів, вампірів та навіть чортів, які стають його новими друзями та ворогами. Мені особливо сподобалася ідея з наручним комп'ютером, який дозволяє «качати» характеристики персонажа, що додає елемент гри до сюжету. Ця книга не лише розважає, але й змушує задуматися про дружбу, відповідальність та пошук свого місця в незнайомому світі. Рекомендую всім, хто любить фентезі та пригоди!
