Книга "Час звірів" захоплює з перших сторінок і не відпускає до самого фіналу. Автор майстерно створює напружену атмосферу, де колишній міліціонер Каргін стає не лише кілером, а й символом боротьби з системою, що намагається його знищити. Його надздібності, отримані завдяки спеціальним уколам, роблять його практично непереможним, але в той же час підкреслюють людські слабкості та емоції, які він намагається приховати. Сюжет наповнений несподіваними поворотами, що тримають у напрузі до самого кінця. Особливо вразила глибина персонажів і їхні стосунки, які додають книзі емоційного забарвлення.
