Experiments by Soviet scientists led to the opening of a space-time portal into a world where magic and enchantment rule, orders of sorcerers exist, and powerful empires flourish. Units of the Soviet army captured significant territories in battle, but due to the closure of the portal they were forced to evacuate, leaving several hundred fighters on Arguerlile. Abandoned by the command that betrayed them, they did not resign themselves and survived, creating their own state, industry, science and culture on an alien planet. It doesn’t matter that against them are creatures of evil magic, powerful wizards, contenders for world domination and an awakened evil deity ready to destroy both worlds. After all, they are the last bridgehead of the USSR in the other world.
