Ця книга стала для мене справжнім відкриттям. Автор, провівши вісім років серед людей, які живуть за межею бідності, зумів передати всю глибину їхнього болю та відчаю. Кожна сторінка пронизана емоціями, які важко описати словами. Читати цю книгу важко, але водночас неможливо відірватися. Вона змушує задуматися про те, як ми живемо, про наші цінності та про людей, які залишаються непоміченими в суспільстві. Описані в ній ситуації та персонажі настільки реалістичні, що відчуваєш їхній біль і страждання на власній шкірі. Після прочитання я відчула, що стала іншою людиною, адже ця книга відкрила мені очі на багато речей, про які я раніше не замислювалася. Рекомендую всім, хто готовий зіткнутися з правдою життя і заглянути в обличчя темряві.
