The book “Over the Ocean and on the Island” was written by the former senior foreign intelligence officer of the KGB of the USSR A.S. Feklisov in the form of autobiographical notes.

It tells about the difficult and dangerous activities of Soviet station officers in the USA and England in the 40-60s. In his memoirs, the author describes those intelligence operations of Soviet intelligence in the USA and England, in which he personally took part.
