This collection presents to the reader the works of N.N. Nikandrov (1868-1964), which have not been republished for more than 70 years, whom A.I. Solzhenitsyn named among the best writers of the 20th century (he also supported the intention to publish this book). Works of N. Nikandrov does not fit into the usual framework. With his rudeness and caricature of images, he exploded the refined atmosphere of the Silver Age. Expressive elements in his style arose long before the emergence of expressionism as a literary movement. The uncompromising, harsh, impartiality of his criticism sounded dissonant even in the heated debates of the 20s. And the merciless ridicule of demagoguery, hypocrisy, hypocrisy, and soullessness of the Soviet system was prudently stopped by the vigilant censorship of subsequent decades. Collected together in the collection “The Path to a Woman,” his novel, stories and short stories allow us to speak of N. Nikandrov as the brightest satirist of modern times. p>
