The novel “Spiritual Day” is the first novel in the new literary program “West-Eastern Divan” and at the same time the debut of the young German author Andreas Mayer, which was highly praised by critics who called it “a completely crazy and absolutely stunning novel.” In an unusual manner - in the form of indirect speech - it tells about human relationships in one of the “bear corners” of Germany, about human types, which brilliantly reflected the “panopticon of the entire German society.”
