Abuzar Aidamirov's story "One Day of Fate", which shows the tragic events of the first years of the deportation of Chechens to Central Asia and Kazakhstan in 1944. Using the example of several people, the author was able to show the whole tragedy of these terrible years, when people deprived of their homeland, separated from family and friends, were placed in inhuman conditions. At the same time, vivid images of representatives of local peoples are shown who provided all possible assistance to the resettled peoples.
