This book is a collection of stories by the famous Orthodox writer nun Euphemia. These stories are not made up, although the names of the characters are sometimes changed. The author combines traditional storytelling, fascination and deep psychologism inherent in Russian classics from Fyodor Dostoevsky to Varlam Shalamov. The uniqueness of the stories of the nun Euphemia is that she is not afraid to show the severe spiritual weakness of some of her heroes, but at the same time - the power of the Lord, accomplished in this weakness.
