Dogra Magra is an experimental novel by Yumeno Kyusaku (1889–1936), which intertwines detective fiction, science fiction, criticism of progress, ancient legends and Buddhist sermons. Over the years, Yumeno Kyusaku's main work remains a mystery. The nameless protagonist of the novel is immersed in a terrible world of feverish delirium, pseudoscientific research and evil fate; He is tormented by memories from a thousand years ago and longs to solve the cursed puzzle that is driving him crazy - but it is impossible to solve. Edogawa Rampo called this book "a mad universe described by a madman, not a writer."
