Five years have passed since the events described in the author’s first book, “Vacation.” But sometimes the past makes you remember and relive everything that happened in those years, once again, to look at what happened from a different perspective. A series of crimes practically blew up the relatively measured life of all participants in the events five years ago associated with the murder of two members of Svetly’s criminal group. First, the main accused in past cases, Dmitry Golubev, is released on parole, whose body is allegedly discovered some time later in Voronezh. Then a series of murders, attempts, and kidnappings force the Holding's security service, private detectives and employees of the capital's homicide department to unite into a single group to confront the criminals. The investigation is being privately led by the new head of the security service of the Perspektiva Holding. The criminal moves freely across the territory of Russia, bloody traces of his deeds remain on the Black Sea coast, in Voronezh, Veliky Novgorod and in the capital. Who is behind him, who organized, directs and pays for the series of murders? The main participants in the investigation will have to figure this out...
