The newsletter “In Defense of Science” contains articles selected by the editorial board and other members of the RAS Commission for Combating Pseudoscience. The articles expose the pseudo- and anti-scientific activities of some “scientists,” which harm the development of science, public health, wean people off critical thinking and contribute to the spread of the beginnings of obscurantism in our country. The book contains reliable information about the activities of false scientists and their patrons. It tells in an accessible form why these “works” of false scientists are incorrect and what harm they cause to the state and individual citizens. The newsletter also includes articles on the latest achievements of science that have important ideological significance. The electronic version of the newsletter is intended for reading on a computer screen and for printing the entire book as a whole or its individual articles in A4 format.
