Every year smells differently and is filled with colors from its own palette. Time can exude tenderness and calm. Or suffocate with fear and despair. And sometimes change is in the air. I am describing two thousand and nine - the year of Crimean happiness, which we did not realize, but even in that happy year we could afford to live on the edge. After all, heaven and hell, fall and overcoming are in each of us. Two stories in this book are about carefree Crimean musicians. About trying to feel the threads that connect us with friends, with random fellow travelers, with the wind over a forest plantation. Why does something important that happens to us pass so quickly? Why did this unfortunate kind man live nearby? The new collection again contains only two short stories. During the reign of vinyl records, the music world was ruled by double-sided singles, one song on each side of the disc. Amazingly laconic form. You can consider my collections an allusion to the vinyl format.
