In the second story, “Witches’ Circles,” which gives the title of the book, the hero decides, despite his mother’s prohibition, to bring a mongrel that has become attached to him into the house. And this seemingly insignificant event entails a whole series of unexpected discoveries, forcing a teenager to change his idea of the world, to take a fresh look at those around him and himself.
