In the family of a fifteen-year-old teenager, the hero of the story “Farewell, Ophelia!”, a misfortune happened: everyone’s favorite person, who became family and friends, disappeared - his brother’s wife, Lucy... She went to work during the day and did not return. And three years later, by chance at a flea market, among the wedding dresses put up for sale, he recognizes (by a faded spot of greenery) Lusino’s wedding dress. And he himself begins an investigation... In the second story, “Witches’ Circles,” which gives the title of the book, the hero decides, despite his mother’s prohibition, to bring a mongrel that has become attached to him into the house.
