November, an ordinary girl from the provincial town of Pembroke, unexpectedly finds herself in a new closed school, remote from the outside world. At the Abskonditi Academy there is no electricity, telephone or internet, instead of the usual lessons there are classes in knife throwing, poisons and the art of deception, and for violating the immutable rules they can be thrown into prison. Here they adhere to the archaic tit-for-tat punishment system, do not make friends and do not share personal secrets. There is only one question: what does she have to do with this strange place where future hired killers and spies are trained? But there is simply no time to figure it all out: one of the students is killed, and suspicions fall on November, like she’s new. Will she be able to extricate herself from the dangerous, deadly game she's caught up in before she's found guilty of the crime... or will she become the killer's next victim?
