“The Wind of the Heathers” tells about the life of the ancient Slavs in the 8th–9th centuries AD. e., during this difficult period in Rus', the first state formations appeared, created under the influence of the culture of the Normans. The heroines of the novel, the daughters of a Norman warrior who built his own city in Rus', are trying to survive in the difficult year of Slavic uprisings against foreigners. Two sisters, who have hated each other since childhood, unite in the fight for their lives, love and happiness in this difficult time. Will their father's city survive, will the sisters be able to forget past grievances and find long-awaited peace?
